TerraCorps-AmeriCorps
Over the years, the North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership and its partners have taken great pride in hosting TerraCorps-AmeriCorps (previously MassLIFT) members. Past members have been able to meet critical community needs for land protection while also gaining valuable experience to become future leaders within the conservation field. Originally a pilot program of Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, TerraCorps now hosts members across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As one of the original host sites when TerraCorps was still in its infancy as a program, the NQRLP will continue to host members through TerraCorps. Our inter-organizational collaborations will help to promote and create a shared vision where land is the foundation of health and well-being for all people and every community within our region and beyond.

Past NQRLP TerraCorps Members
Valerie has lived in Massachusetts her entire life, and moved to Western Massachusetts in 2015 to attend the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Valerie studied public health in college, and is excited to use that knowledge to promote land conservation through the lens of health. She is passionate about the local food system and food justice, and is looking forward to the opportunity to tie that into the work of land conservation. She is very excited to be serving through TerraCorps with the North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership this year, and looks forward to getting to know the North Quabbin community better.
